The McKinney Community Development Corporation grants funds to a broad range of organizations each year: from the Parks and Recreation department to city tourist, community and convention facilities, and community service organizations.
MCDC provides two types of grants: grants for projects that will improve the quality of life in McKinney, and meet the eligibility requirements established by Texas state law; and grants for community events and activities that promote the City of McKinney for the purposes of business development or tourism. If you have a project, event or activity that falls into one of these two categories and you would like to apply for funding from MCDC, consult the grant guidelines below to see if you qualify, then review the grant calendar (included in the Grant Guidelines PDF) to see when to apply for the type of grant you are interested in.

Applications will be reviewed and considered by the MCDC Board of Directors according to the schedule included in the Grant Guidelines.
