David Myers serves as the Director of Business Development for Certified Payments, headquartered in Fort Worth, Texas. David specializes in government sales and drives the strategy for a sales team in all other sectors of the United States.
Prior to moving to McKinney, David worked in Washington DC as a Legislative Aide for the National Rifle Association and was a lobbyist for the Civil War Preservation Trust. David served as a liaison to several national boards, nonprofits and other government entities such as the National Trust for Historic Preservation, Ducks Unlimited, Delta Waterfowl and the National Park Service. During his tenure in Washington, David was asked to provide Congressional testimony on behalf of Civil War battlefield preservation.
Originally from Madison, Mississippi, David graduated from Delta State University with a degree in Political Science. He and his wife Caitlin moved to McKinney in 2008 and are members at First Baptist of McKinney. David is very active in the community, serving in a number of local political campaigns and volunteering with his church.
